Tribute to Change and the American Experiment
Insights Four51 featured a collection of quotes on democracy back in November when we marched to the polls. Except for the Coleman/Franken tilt in the strange state of Minnesota, November’s battles have been settled.
Now it’s January. Inauguration Day, to be precise. Time for new leaders to lead in new ways. Time for change.

Just for fun: What is it about merging that’s so difficult?
Earlier this year, Four51 made the decision to discontinue support for multiple record output production jobs in direct mail type products. The decision was made in part due to customer feedback highlighting the potential for errant list data, and partly due to the time required to process the mail merge and time to deliver the production file across the network. We learned that most service providers are using the application to obtain a buyer’s order and are then managing the creation and merge of the production output offline.

It’s the Dog Days. Sirius is the dog star. Sirius and XM have completed their merger, and the combined company will be called…are you ready…Sirius XM. You have to wonder how many meetings it took to reach that decision.
But enough of that. The dog days of summer mean that pennant races are heating up. Cubs v. Brewers, Twins v. White Sox. Time for great players to play great. And speaking of players, I like sports nicknames. So let’s indulge ourselves in a little sports nickname quiz.
Use the Comments feature below to name as many of these athletes as you can. Look for the answers in about a week. (The names span several sports, and yes, in several cases there might be more than one right answer.)
